for the right to stay with people with dementia

for the right of people with dementia to be supported by their family carers

Today (November 30th 2023) Lord Hunt of King's Heath will introduce his Protection of Care Recipients and Carers Bill into the House of Lords. After our own Care Supporters Bill was timed out, we (and our friends at Care Rights UK) are glad that there is someone who still believes that these are matters that deserve reform. We have also written to the new Secretary of State to try an alert her to the avoidable suffering she could - and should - tackle.

Voices

Throughout the campaign people have come forward and shared their voices - their testimony. The firsthand experience they've shared has been raw, real, and vital for making the case for change.
